I don't know how this sculptor has passed me by but I came across his work today completely by accident. Take a look at these amazing sculptures of American born DeLucia, I know we my be aiming high but I'd love to have this guy making some crazy installations for The Three Corners....we can dream right? A

Sticky tape structures

Amy and I have spent the afternoon scouring the net for recent furniture and product design graduates so we can begin to compile a hit-list for when we've found a venue. Along the way I came across these installations that are made entirely from sticky tape. The top installation is by Monika Grzymala who applies black tape directly to gallery walls, wrapping around corners and projecting outwards to create three-dimensional drawings.

I then came across this sticky tape installation by designers For Use/Numen for DMY Berlin. 45km of tape was woven around scaffolding to create a huge solid structure that people could climb on and sit inside. Maybe one day when we have a venue big enough.....! C

Tightrope

When I'm not working on The Three Corner Collective with Claire I'm busy working away on my own art practice, for the past few months I've been gearing towards my first solo show 'Tightrope' at The China Shop Gallery in Oxford. Last Friday was opening night and it was so much fun, lots of friends came up from London town and a few lovelies from my home town of lancaster made the journey-big thanks to all that came! A x

The downer

So it's been a while since our last blog post, Claire and have been hit by a lack of momentum and I personally feel like I've been on a double come down since the the end of bootcamp at S4CS and the opening of my solo show at The China Shop Gallery last week...but this is what happens when starting a business right?....Right?...

Spending the morning looking for a much needed dose of inspiration I came across some cool text pieces, in a bid to calm my own desperation I've put together a mini story of the metal state I'm in!
